Open to Software Engineer roles — remote or relocation, worldwide
Youssef Eldemery
Software Engineer at CIB Egypt, shipping digital-banking features — Apple Pay activation, instant card issuance, mutual-fund trading. I gather the requirements, write the spec, build the API, and run the UAT.

01 / Engineering
Full-stack for regulated financial systems. Node.js, NestJS, React, React Native, REST.
02 / Product & Analysis
Requirements gathering, specs, user stories, UAT — with the people who will actually use it.
03 / Applied AI
Computer vision on constrained hardware. Three assistive-tech projects, one international award.

About
I studied Electronics & Communications Engineering, specialising in Smart Systems. My graduation project put a convolutional neural network on a Raspberry Pi to help visually impaired people navigate a room — which is where I learned that the interesting part of engineering is almost always the constraint.
I now build digital-banking features at CIB Egypt. Hardware taught me constraints; banking taught me consequences. Between the two, I have kept returning to the same problem — building for people whose environment does not accommodate them.
The way I work is unglamorous and it holds up: talk to the stakeholder first, write the spec, build small, document the API, then test it with the people who will actually use it.
